How are your ropes tested ?
All our ropes are tested to the limit. On the water; in some of the world’s greatest yacht races like the Volvo Ocean race and The Americas Cup; and off the water at the factory where we test all ropes to destruction.
We always publish minimum spliced breaking loads as the only loads that are achievable by, and relevant to, the user.
How should I take care of my Ropes ?
If your ropes are used for sailing applications, we recommend our ropes are washed in fresh water as often as possible. Removing dirt and salt particles can really help to make your ropes last longer. Storage is also important so once washed and the ropes are dried storing them in a dry place will help keep the ropes in good condition for your next sail.
