Overview
Shockguard is a premium shockcord with a braided cover made from 100% black Dyneema® SK75 fibre, which provides ultimate abrasion resistance. The Dyneema® also has less friction than a conventional shockcord which provides a more even stretch, especially when used in purchase systems on racing dinghies.

Rubber
Rubber is harvested mainly in the form of the latex from the rubber tree or others. The latex is a sticky, milky colloid drawn off by making incisions in the bark and collecting the fluid in vessels in a process called “tapping”. The latex then is refined into rubber that is ready for commercial processing.
