Nacra Inter 20

Kingfisher are proud to announce their latest addition to their diverse sponsorship program for 2011.

In addition to yachts and dinghies, Kingfisher's continual technical development now includes the performance catamaran sector. Chris King and Andy Jones who have worked on previous Kingfisher campaigns have now moved into the Nacra Inter 20 class.

The Inter 20 will be used as a development platform for the next generation of ropes for performance catamarans, including the Formula 18, 20 and Olympic Tornado class. The distinctive 'Kingfisher' Nacra Inter 20 will be campaigned throughout the UK and European circuit, including grand prix events such as Eurocat and The Round Texel Race. 29er Sponsorship

Young sailors Will Glover and Tom Bucktrout have been sponsored by Kingfisher throughout 2010 we will continue this through 2011 and hopefully beyond. "I hope we can help Will and Tom reach there targets of sailing in the olympics" Nigel Saddington Kingfisher.

Will Glover and Tom Bucktrout are in the Team GBR 29er youth squad. In 2009 they were the junior national champions.

There aims for 2011 are to win the youth championships and be selected to go to the ISAF youth worlds in Croatia. Will and Tom's long tem goal is to campaign for Team GBR for the Olympic 49er.

RS800 Sponsorship

RS800 sailors Adam Broughton and Stevi Wilson are very proud to be supported by Kingfisher Yacht Ropes. As Adam says "Kingfisher Yacht Ropes are great, they have a range that really works in a performance skiff. We have some technical ropes on our boat which are strong and lighter than our competitors which gives us an advantage on the race course."

This season has been a good for Adam and Stevi as they have finished inside the top 3 at every RS800 event that they have attended.

Which includes 2nd at the National Championship and 2nd at the Eurocup at Lake Garda.
