8 strand nylon
8 strand nylon rope makes an ideal anchor line due to its construction being easy to splice on to chain. It has a good abrasion resistance and is very strong while able to absorb high shock loads. Please note black and navy 8 strand ropes are made from polyester fibre, not nylon.
